Police make huge cocaine seizure at Prague airport
Czech police announced the discovery of 31 kg of cocaine at Prague-Ruzyne airport, internet daily Ceske noviny wrote February 26.
“Czech customs officers seized a record shipment of 31 kg of cocaine worth an estimated 60 million crowns at the Prague-Ruzyne airport on Monday, suspecting three Dutch nationals of smuggling the drug, Customs Directorate spokesman Jiri Bartak said, according to Ceske noviny.
The cocaine was packaged in 25 bags in the luggage of Dutch citizens traveling from the Dominican Republic. The seizure is said to be the largest single cocaine drug bust in the Czech Republic’s history.
