Poland, Hungary, Romania can share Ukraine – Russian MP
The leader of the Russian liberal democratic political party LDPR, Vladimir Zhyrinovsky, announed that Poland, Hungary and Romania could share the territory of Ukraine between them, the Ukrainian daily media Fakty.ua wrote March 24.
“LDPR’s press service confirmed the sending of official letters to the Polish foreign ministry and the Hungarian and Romanian authorities proposing to hold referendums in some western regions of Ukraine, which formerly belonged to the aforemnetioned states,” according to the media.
The Polish Foreign Ministry’s press secretary, Marcin Wojciechowski, said that Zhyrinovsky’s proposal is so “strange” that it cannot to be taken seriously.
