Russian MP offers Poland, Hungary and Romania to share Ukraine
The leader of the Russian liberal democratic political party LDPR, Vladimir Zhyrinovsky, offered Poland, Hungary and Romania to share the territory of Ukraine, the Ukrainian daily media Fakty.ua wrote March 24.
“LDPR’s press service confirmed the fact that it had sent official letters to the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as Hungarian and Romanian authorities proposing to hold referendums in some western regions of Ukraine, which before were parts of the above-mentioned countries,” according to the media.
Polish Foreign Ministry’s press secretary, Marcin Wojciechowski, said that Zhyrinovsky’s proposal is so “strange” that is not to be taken seriously.
