Rothschild will sell Poroshenko’s assets

Rothschild is finalizing the process of signing the contract on the participation of Rothschild in the sale of the Ukrainian president’s business assets.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will begin selling business assets with the assistance of the famous British investment company Rothschild, the Ukrainian business daily Bizness Vesti wrote citing Giovanni Salvetti, the Rothschind’s CEO, Aug. 22.
“We are finalizing the process of signing the contract on the participation of Rothschild in the sale of the Ukrainian president’s business assets in a consortium with the local partner – Investment Capital Ukraine,” Salvetti said.
Rothschild is the famous European financial dynasty. In 2012, its fortune was estimated at USD 500 bln.
Petro Poroshenko’s business assets, including the company Roshen, 5 TV channel and others, were estimated by Forbes at USD 1.3 bln, the paper wrote.
