Ukrainian politicians added to international wanted list
Ukrainian politicians, including the Minister of Interior of Ukraine Arsen A., and the governor of Dnepropetrovsk region, Igor K., were declared wanted in all Interpol member states by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, according to a press release published June 21.
“On June 18, Russia’s Investigative Committee opened criminal cases against Arsen A. and Igor K., who were accused of using prohibited methods in warfare, aggravated murder, obstructing journalists’ work and kidnapping,” the announcement said. “They were declared wanted internationally on June 21.”
On July 2, Basmanny Court of Moscow will hold a hearing where the issue of Igor K.’s arrest in absentia will be considered.
