Polish central investigations bureau announces PLN 500,000 drug bust
Officers from the Polish central investigations bureau announced the seizure of class A and B drugs worth an estimated PLN 500,000.
“Police from the Central Bureau of Investigations [CBS] terminated two professional marihuana plantations […],” the CBS wrote in a press release. “The black market value of the secured drugs reaches some PLN 500,000.”
Functionaries secured 5 kg of marihuana, 700 portions of amphetamine and more than 730 canopies, which could produce some 18 kg of dry plant material.
Seven suspects were apprehended and six have remained in custody. If convicted, they face up to 10 years in prison.
